So, at the end of last month I was fortunate enough to spend my birthday weekend in the beautiful city of Lisbon, Portugal.
I’d never been to Portugal before, so the quaint pastel colored buildings and 18 degree heat were a welcome change to the dull, rainy England that we’d left behind.
Of course, for us Englishfolk such weather calls for bare legs and colorful clothes which, in turn, got us a more than a few stares from confused Portuguese onlookers. They were probably wondering who on earth these crazy people were, and why they were dressed like the cast of Baywatch in the middle of the winter!
Follow my photo diary in the days to come for a little glimpse into this wonderful city, and find out why Nandos is (really) a rather poor representation of the food, and Portuguese culture alike.
Until next time,
