I hope everyone’s had a great week.
I’m currently on week 2 of my campaign with Westfield Health and I figured now is as good’a time as any to update you on my progress.
Hands up who often sits at their desk, dipping in and out of doing work and not moving during their lunch break? (My hand shot straight up)
I’m sure others will agree that when you’re busy, it can feel a bit wrong to up and leave for half an hour/an hour during your lunch break.
But the thing I’ve come to realise is, even just taking 10 minutes to go outside for a wander can do wonders for your productivity.
I can genuinely say that from doing that this week I feel fresher, and better able to focus on the task at hand upon my return.
As my role requires a lot of writing and creativity, sometimes you need that break to come back fresh, and correct all the ill-wording or little mistakes you’ve managed to miss despite reading it over before.
In the style of my travel photo diaries, I decided that this week I would track my progress in photos. We’ve been blessed with some absolutely beautiful weather, so allow me to share with you some of the snaps I’ve gathered through week 2 of my #WHWalkingLunch es…
So this my challenge to you, dear readers… get up and get moving during your lunch times in May!
I want you and your team at work to sign up the Westfield Health Walking Lunch challenge and keep my updated on your progress using the hashtag #WHWalkingLunch on social media. Feel free to bombard me with photos, too!
Until next week,
